Workshop Dates

Monday, August 11 to Friday, August 15

5:00pm-9:00pm

Cabaret Performance:

Sunday, August 17 at 3:00pm

Tuition for the Musical Theater Workshop is $100 

How to pay tuition:

  • bring a check or cash to the first rehearsal

  • mail a check to Consonare Choral Community, P.O. Box 338, Mansfield Center, CT 06250 

  • -pay online via the Class Registration link below

If paying tuition is a hardship for you, please send Sarah an email to inquire about fee waivers.  If you would like to add a donation to your tuition, you can do so easily and your donation is tax deductible. 

Performance Repertoire Options

All workshop participants will perform together in an ensemble number for the culminating Cabaret performance. Each participant is also given the option to perform a solo OR duet for the final Cabaret performance.

We are asking each singer to have 2-3 song choices determined prior to the start for workshop week.  

​

Below is a link to a list of song options appropriate for teens and tweens from which to choose. If you are auditioning for or need to work for a specific role coming up not included on the list or you have a specific song in mind, please email Sarah Kaufold with your song choice prior to August 15th.

Here is a computer playing your part as it is written not as it is sung on Broadway so you can learn it.
Disclaimer:  There may be a few mistakes on these recordings as it was read by a computer. But in the essence of time, it will help with practice at home during this very short week.
